Description: |
Tosoh SMD, Inc. is a leading supplier of high purity thin film deposition materials and related consumable products used worldwide by manufacturers of electronic and solar components. From our state-of-the-art development and manufacturing facility in Grove City, Ohio, we ship our products to customers across the US and around the world.
We have an immediate opening for a CNC machinist on 3rd shift (11:30 p.m. to 8 a.m.) to operate CNC mill turn centers and related equipment.

Duties: |
Responsibilities include the following:
• Follow, initiate and implement procedures and setup sheets.
• Setup manual or CNC machines on proven programs.
• Setup and operate all related equipment in the cell.
• Inspect parts to print and special instructions.
• Complete all required documentation.
• Work with Process and R&D Engineers
• Train in and follow Lean Methods.
• Rework defective/non-conforming parts.
• Identify and implement machining parameters for all the different materials.

Qualifications: |
Qualifications include:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
• CNC Machining skills (programming, tooling knowledge, ability to read blueprints).
• Ability to use and interpret dimensional measuring tools, and NDT tools.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Proficient with math skills, especially with geometric calculations.
• Ability to lift and move parts weighing 50 pounds into machine.
• Ability to identify and implement improvements.
