Description:

Senior Dental Insurance Solutions (SDIS) is a privately-held company that provides reimbursed insurance products to residents residing in Ohio nursing homes. SDIS is the exclusive broker for clinical services administered and managed by Mid America Health, Inc. (MAH), and Onsite Healthcare Services (OHCS). OHCS has rapidly grown to become a leader in providing mobile dental and hygiene services to the elderly population residing in FL, MD, NJ, GA and now OH nursing homes.

Ohio has approximately 700 nursing homes. The Sales Executive’s duty is to influence these homes, their managers and executives to utilize our dental and oral hygiene services. Once the nursing home has agreed to partner with SDIS, the Sales Executive must promote the dental insurance product (the mechanism to receive MAH/OHCS clinical services) to the nursing home’s families and residents.

Duties:

As a Sales Executive at SDIS you will:
•Gain commitment from nursing homes to utilize
SDIS’ insurance product
•Sell the SDIS insurance product to the nursing
home residents and their families
•Commit to traveling across Ohio
•Develop sales and marketing plans and budgets to
achieve and exceed goals and quotas
•Be responsible for implementing your sales and
marketing plan
•Forecast needs; set priorities and report to SWOT
•Work closely with SDIS’ Ohio consultant(s) to
generate new opportunities
•Develop and utilize a database of qualified leads
through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to
face meetings, cold calling on nursing home
executives, direct mail, email and networking
•Be responsible for sourcing and developing your
client relationships and referrals
•Maintain accurate records of all sales and
prospecting activities including sales calls,
presentations, closed sales, and follow-up
activities, including the use of Microsoft Outlook
•Use superior customer service to maintain
business relationships with nursing home
associations, executives, managers, families as
well as partners and SDIS personnel
•Use your skills to build a strategy for identifying
and growing new business
•Participate and contribute to nursing home and
resident educational and volunteer programs
•Actively participate and volunteer in nursing home
associations and their committees
•Interact and cooperate with all SDIS employees
and their partners

Qualifications:

Qualifications:
•Must be familiar with I.T., such as the internet, e-
mail, Microsoft Office, databases, using files and
the general ability to self-manage your PC
•Bachelor’s Degree
•Two years of healthcare experience, preferably
with long term care
•Competent organizational skills
•Ability to handle deadlines and stressful situations
•Ability to work with and comfortably walk among
high-level executives as well as low-income
families and residents
•Excellent written and oral presentation skills
•Ability to work independently and self-motivate
•Formal sales training preferred
•Knowledge of Ohio’s nursing home industry
preferred
•Knowledge of dental clinical services preferred
•Existing contacts in Ohio nursing homes preferred
