Description: | | Ohio Luxury retirement community has an opening for a full-time Leasing Representative. Person will be responsible for leasing & marketing efforts, showing available units and processing applicant & new resident paperwork. Ideal candidate will be an energetic self-starter with excellent sales/closing skills who has enthusiasm and passion for working with seniors. Great leasing commissions! Real Estate License is required but can be obtained after employment begins. | Duties: | * Answer telephones and provide leasing information, make appointments to show apartments, take maintenance requests.
* Greet potential residents, determine their needs and prepare all appropriate documents, i.e. application, guest cards; show residents models or vacant apartments; verify lease and forward all pertinent documents to property manager for approval.
* Once a lease is approved prepare move-in information and review with resident.
* Follow up verbally and in writing with all prospects who did not lease.
* Prepare traffic and leasing reports.
* Assist General Manager with advertising, newsletters, resident parties, preparing brochures, and general office duties.
* Maintain a high resident retention through renewal programs.
* Comply with all Fair Housing and Federal Trade Commision requirements.
* Maintain all proper licensing requirements. | Qualifications: | | High school diploma and at least 2 years of experience leasing/marketing apartments. |
