Description: |
Tosoh SMD, Inc. is a leading supplier of high purity thin film deposition materials and related consumable products used worldwide by manufacturers of electronic and solar components. From our state-of-the-art development and manufacturing facility in Grove City, Ohio, we ship our products to customers across the US and around the world.
We have an immediate need for a regular, part-time Receptionist to work in the afternoon from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Duties: |
Responsibilities include:
1) Managing the lobby activities while covering the switchboard:
a) Answering and processing incoming phone calls
b) Greeting and announcing visitors/guests
c) Processing incoming and outgoing faxes
d) Sorting and distributing incoming mail
e) Processing outgoing mail
f) Promoting a good company image
g) Opening or closing the lobby at the beginning and end of the day if covering that period of time.
2) Processing and maintaining purchase orders for safety glasses and safety shoes and scheduling the safety shoemobile.
3) Responding to and assisting with emergency situations per TSMD safety policies and procedures. Training will be provided.
4) Performing various clerical assignments including:
a) Sorting and filing documents
b) Light typing and labeling
c) Other project assistance as assigned
5) Hours are 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. with one 15 minute break. Additional work hours may be available or required on occasion.

Qualifications: |
Qualifications include:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
3. Good time management and organizational skills
4. Ability to occasionally work extra hours
5. Prior office-related work experience is desirable
6. Word processing and personal computer experience is desirable;
