| The project manager is the conductor of the construction project, charged with duties of organizing, planning, purchasing and scheduling the "start-up through completion" of all activities. In the delivery of the project, the manager carefully orchestrates the intended outcome that balances owner contract, budget, time and costs limitations. The manager acts as the "HUB" of activities reaching out to the Owner (or Owner's representative), subcontractors, lower tier subcontractors, material suppliers and trade unions (where applicable) involved in the construction process. This tenacious effort brings to the project the tools necessary for the superintendent to follow the construction schedule on the projects way to a successful completion. |
Duties: |
1. Assumes the responsibility for the overall administration of the project according to the Project Managers Procedural manual.
2. Assumes the responsibility for all acquisitions required for the project according to the Project Managers Procedural manual.
3. Assumes the responsibility of the management and scheduling the project, according to the Project Managers Procedural manual.
4. Assumes the responsibility of the timely close-out of the project according to the Project Managers Procedural manual.
5. Assumes the responsibility to ensure Total Quality Management in the project management department.
6. Assumes the responsibility for all related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications: |
| Preferred candidate with 7+ years experience in the Interiors Industry running projects including Metal Stud Framing, Drywall Hanging and Taping and Ceiling work. Must be able to interpret blue prints, perform quantity take off, and process RFI's submittals and changes. Ability to manage material purchases, scheduling and project reporting. Candid must have strong communication, organizational, & computer skills including the use of On-screen take-off and quick bid. A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management is a plus. |
