Description: | | Property management firm has opening for full-time Maintenance Supervisor at Independence Village of Avon Lake in Avon Lake, OH - a beautiful 145 unit luxury retirement community. Ideal candidate will have prior maintenance management experience in the property management field. Duties include directly managing all maintenance employees and completing, assigning or contracting out the timely completion of all service requests, preventative maintenance and unit rehabilitation for the property. Must have prior experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general maintenance. We are looking for a hard working, customer service driven person who is able to provide quality and professional service to residents as well as strong guidance to staff. | Duties: | *Must be able to interpret and follow Ohio Revised Code and Ohio Administrative Code for licensed Residential Care Facility.
*Supervision of all on-site maintenance and grounds employees
*Ensure that all contract procedures are followed and monitor all work performed by outside contractors.
*Ensure that all equipment, vehicles & shop areas are properly maintained and cleaned. Follow all OSHA safety standards
*Implement and maintain a preventative maintenance program.
*Complete requiredd property and unit inspections and ensure all follow-up work is completed as scheduled. | Qualifications: | | High school diploma and at least 4 years of maintenance management experience. |
