Description:

Under the direction of the Business Manager, performs variety of duties to support department functions.




Duties:

JOB DUTIES include, but not limited to:
Assist Business Manager in all phases of the job to include various projections, analysis, reporting and attainment of specified goals and objectives.
Support completion of quarterly internal Sarbanes-Oxley auditing and testing for monthly operational audit.
Assist with the monthly analysis of performance to budget variances
Support other departments with financial analysis as requested.
Provide support and analysis for preparation of the detailed annual operating budget.
In conjunction with Business Manager, develop expense control processes to ensure budget attainment.
Perform monthly account analysis on selected accounts.
Coordinate with Corporate Accounting on monthly accruals, adjustments and reconciliations.
Develop and ensure accurate implementation of processes and formal departmental procedures.
Working closely with technical and operations personnel to track and control related expenses.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance strongly preferred
One to three years equivalent experience also preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
Positive attitude and good work ethic
Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel, working independently in a team environment
Ability to work in a time sensitive environment with tight deadlines and good attention to detail
Strong math, analytical and independent judgment skills
