Description: |
Tosoh SMD, Inc. is a leading supplier of high purity thin film deposition materials and related consumable products used worldwide by manufacturers of electronic and solar components. From our state-of-the-art development and manufacturing facility in Grove City, Ohio, we ship our products to customers across the US and around the world.
We have an immediate need for a CNC programmer experienced in mill turn operations and Mazak multi axis Integrex using G-code and M-code programming to support our second shift production areas. Experience using Edge CAM and/or Siemens NX software is desirable for this position.

Duties: |
Responsibilities include:
CNC Programming (50% of time):
• Create and maintain CNC programs and CNC setup sheets for all areas.
• Utilize the CNC CAD software for generating CNC programs.
• Maintain master program files and setup sheets per established procedures.
Support Production Operations (30% of time):
• Provide operations support for CNC setup and machining processes.
• Define and coordinate the purchase of new tooling as required for new jobs with tool crib coordinator.
• Participate on a machining methods team that focuses on reducing cycle time while improving cost and quality.
Other (20% of time):
• Support functions of CNC office with priorities being set by senior programmer.
• Review new or revised drawings before they are approved for manufacturing.

Qualifications: |
Qualifications include:
• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training is desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of machining experience including CNC machining.
• Must have CNC programming and/or editing experience.
• Must be proficient with computer systems including software such as MS Word, Excel, Access, AutoCAD, and software-driven file systems and batch-file driven systems.
• Must have ability to read and understand blueprints including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Must have intermediate to advanced math skills including elements of trigonometry, geometry and algebra.
• Must demonstrate good planning capabilities.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must be self-starter that works well with minimum supervision.
• Must be able to manage and complete projects with minimum supervision.
• Experience training others to perform new job tasks is desirable.
