Chief Technology Officer
The City of Lima, Ohio is currently accepting resumes for the position of Chief Technology Officer. As a classified, civil service employee the CTO directs the overall function of the IT Division of the Utilities Department. The CTO is responsible for leading the development and implementation of a city-wide information technology strategy; managing and supervising division staff; maintaining industry standard information technology security and privacy controls; overseeing and maintaining documentation relevant to system configurations including oversight of record keeping of licensing agreements and hardware/software inventories. The CTO also provides information to the Mayor, the Utilities Director, City Council and public relevant to the management and development of the City's information technology systems and acts as the city's representative for collaborative initiatives with local, regional and national affiliations.
Qualified candidates must possess the following: Bachelor of Science in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent degree and/or five (5) years of progressive responsible experiences in this field; Two (2) years supervisory experience.
Pay Rate: $85,000. Annually
