Utilities Operation Manager
The City of Lima, Ohio is currently accepting resumes for the position of Utilities Operation Manager. Under direction, assists with development and implementation of departmental policies, goals, objectives, procedures and priorities; plans, directs and coordinates with staff the Utilities Work Plan; oversees division managers; assists with selection, training and motivation of employees; analyzes problems and identifies alternative solutions; helps plan and implement maintenance and improvement projects; inspects work in progress and serves as liaison with contractors and engineers; helps develop and administer department budget; prepares and submits reports as required by Federal, State and Local laws and regulations; assists with citizens complaints; attends meetings and conferences.
Qualified candidates must possess the following: Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or equivalent. Must possess Class III Operator licenses in Water and Wastewater and a valid Ohio driver's license. A minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience is recommended.
Pay Rate: $2,984.00 Bi-weekly
