Quality Control Technician – Akron, OH
$15–$16/hr (based on experience) | Full-Time, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday
Are you detail-oriented and take pride in producing quality work? A latex manufacturing company in Akron, Ohio is looking for a Quality Control Technician to join their growing team!
You’ll play an important role in ensuring that every product meets company and customer standards. If you have quality control experience, strong attention to detail, and are comfortable entering data into a computer — we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do
- Inspect products visually, electronically, or by air inflation to ensure quality standards are met
- Identify and report nonconforming or suspect products
- Accurately complete quality documentation and records
- Support quality management system processes and continuous improvement efforts
- Work closely with team members to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
What We’re Looking For
- Prior quality control or inspection experience
- Ability to work full-time (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday)
- Comfortable with data entry and computer use
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
- Able to sit for long periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
- Willing to be cross-trained and assist in different areas when needed
Training & Growth
You’ll receive hands-on training from an experienced team member after completing onboarding and safety orientation.
This is a 90-day temp-to-hire opportunity!
