Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with pediatric experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week assignment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in an MRI department performing diagnostic imaging on patients of all ages, including pediatrics
- Utilize MRI scanners and associated equipment for imaging procedures
- 12-hour day shifts with typical hours of 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
- Schedule may include Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Saturday combinations
- Participation in on-call rotation is required
- May work with student technologists to support learning during clinical rotations
- Duties include producing quality diagnostic MRI scans, preparing and administering contrast media, educating patients and parents, and advocating for individual patient needs
- Strict adherence to quality and safety protocols is expected
- Team-oriented environment with collaboration across departments to ensure quality care
- Smoke-free facility and campus
- Scrub attire is grape/purple top with black pants or purple top and pants
- Locals accepted at the same rate
- Former permanent employees must wait at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
- All requested time off must be discussed during the interview and included at submission

- High school diploma or GED is required
- Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology/Sciences or Medical Imaging related discipline required
- ARRT certification in Radiography and Magnetic Resonance required; CNMT or ARDMS registration may substitute for Radiography registry if ARRT MR is held
- CPR certification is required
- Permanent Ohio or Compact license must be in hand at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
- At least one recent reference from a supervisor or manager in MRI specialty required
- Experience working with pediatric patients is necessary
