Position Overview

We're seeking a flexible, enthusiastic Registered Dental Hygienist to serve as a Float Hygienist across our Columbus-area locations. This role supports practices in Worthington Hills, Canal Winchester, Upper Arlington, and Grove City, based on team and patient care needs. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments

  • Evaluate oral health, take digital X-rays, and collaborate with dentists on treatment plans

  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care

  • Maintain infection control protocols through sterilization and operatory turnover

  • Accurately document patient records and treatment plans in dental software

  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in every interaction

  • Travel to designated locations as scheduled based on office coverage needs

Qualifications

  • Active Ohio Dental Hygiene License

  • Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certification preferred

  • Proficiency with digital radiography and dental technology

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different clinical environments

  • Prior experience with dental software is a plus

  • Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel across Columbus-area offices
