As a Lifeguard &amp; Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for the safety of our members in the pool area. This position will assist in the teaching of swim lessons and help to keep our pool clean and accessible.
Responsibilities

<li>Patrol and monitor the pool by actively scanning the water and watching members to ensure their wellbeing while swimming.</li>
<li>Rescue distressed persons, using rescue techniques and equipment.</li>
<li>Maintain quality of pool water by testing chemical levels such as pH and chlorine.</li>
<li>Examine injured persons and administer first aid or cardiopulmonary resuscitation, if necessary, using training and medical supplies and equipment.</li>

Liquid Lifestyle coach provides in-water instruction in both private lesson and small-group class formats for learn-to-swim children (ages 6 mos. &amp; up), adult beginners, competitive age-group swimmers, and triathletes. Positions are year round.

RESPONSIBILITIES 
<ul>
<li>Provide clients with leading-edge instruction using Liquid Lifestyles proven techniques.</li>
<li>Deliver personalized improvement plans and clearly defined performance expectations to clients.</li>
<li>Initiate, develop and maintain positive relationships with clients.</li>
<li>Demonstrate motivational, energetic and professional delivery of instruction via verbal communication and demonstration.</li>
<li>Embody the Liquid Lifestyles values of excellence and professionalism.</li>

REQUIREMENTS 
<ul>
<li>Consistency, reliability and punctuality is mandatory.</li>
<li>Evenings (3-8PM) and Weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) required.</li>
<li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree required.</li>
<li>Education focus in Education, Communication, Sport Management, Exercise Science or similar is a plus.</li>
<li>Must be competent in freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke.</li>
<li>Ability to tread water in 6' deep water for two minutes using only legs and surface dive to object at 6' depth without goggles.</li>
<li>Swim or other coaching experience AND competitive swimming background is required.</li>

We are looking for experienced, high energy coaches to develop our Level 7-10 athletes ranging in age from 8-18yrs. Full and part time positions available. Must have weekend and evening availability. Additionally, we are looking for:

<li>A positive attitude, eye for detail, and a genuine love of children is a MUST.</li>
<li>Enthusiasn, positive and passionate about coaching and working with kids.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills.</li>
<li>The ability to build relationships and make connections with both athletes and parents.</li>
<li>A thorough understanding the sport of gymnastics both physically and mentally.</li>
