About Us
Small, professional CPA firm is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Tax Support Assistant. This part time, in-office role provides flexibility, paid holidays, paid time off, and performance-base bonus opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electronic and paper tax documents, renaming, moving and logging in internal systems.
- Assist with monthly bookkeeping tasks, bank reconciliations, payroll, and sales tax filing.
- Communicate professionally with clients through secure portals and phone.
- Maintain client records in QuickBooks Online.
- Perform basic clerical duties (filing, copying) and light office maintenance.

Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (mandatory)
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality.
- Comfortable with digital files, scanners, web portals, and cloud-based software.
Schedule & Flexibility
- Standard workdays: Tuesday through Thursday.
- Flexibility offered for family events and children's school activities.
- All work performed on-site to ensure client information security.
Compensation & Benefits
- $17-$19 (based on experience)
- 20-24 hours /week (part-time)
- Paid Holidays and Paid time off (PTO)
- Two annual performance-based bonuses
- 90-day probationary period with wage review; annual wage review thereafter
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Submission of resume (three non-family references at time of interview)
- Successful completion of a Basic Computer Literacy Assessment (30-40 minutes)
- Clear background check prior to first day.
