Key Accountabilities

<li>Monitor and ensure safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.</li>
<li>Enforce and explain rules as necessary.</li>

<li>Perform chemical testing and documents results for three bodies of water and a hot tub four times a day.</li>
<li>Attend all required staff meetings and training.</li>
<li>Ensure that needs of the aquatic center are being met by folding towels; cleaning; filling water machines; and inspecting the Aquatics Facility to ensure safe environment for members.</li>

 Minimum Requirements

<li>Must be at least 16 years old.</li>
<li>American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification. *Site may be able to provide Red Cross Lifeguard certification training at discounted rate.</li>
<li>Meet HealthFitness Fitness and Skill standards.</li>
<li>Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills.</li>
<li>Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools.</li>
<li>Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.</li>
