Salary: $75,000 - $110,000 per year

Job Details
Responsibilities
- Provide coordination between clients, government agencies and KEM staff.
- Provide detailed design/plan development for water/wastewater treatment, pumping stations, sanitary collection
systems, water distribution systems and construction inspection.
- Collaborate on new business development for KEM water/wastewater services.
- Develop technical specifications, permit applications, sewer system evaluation surveys, cost estimates, etc.
- Assist with development of project scopes and schedules.
- Provide other duties as assigned by Directors.
Capabilities
- Project coordination skills.
- Knowledge and interest in treatment plants, pumping stations, collection and distribution systems along with other
public infrastructure design.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Good problem solving/decision making skills.
- Must be a versatile team player that shows an eagerness to learn (interpersonal skills).
- Candidates shall be dependable and exhibit a positive attitude.
- Experience in the construction industry and/or in-depth knowledge of construction processes is preferred.
- Requires understanding and/or ability to learn Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
- Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
- Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering with 2+ years of experience.
