Job Summary: As the Wealth Operations Manager at Ohio CU Financial Services, you will oversee financial processes, reporting, and operational efficiencies. You will collaborate with internal departments including Compliance, Marketing, Accounting, Retail and the Member Service Center. You will oversee and report program performance to Senior Management. Finally, you will handle complex member issues to ensure WOW service delivery.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Member Relations: Serve as the primary contact for members addressing inquiries, and providing guidance on account-related issues.
  • Transaction Oversight: Ensure accurate processing of cash and investment transactions in customer accounts, following established procedures and regulatory guidelines.
  • Asset Management: Initiate and manage all asset movements, including new accounts, closures, mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate actions.
  • Account Maintenance: Track outstanding items for new and existing accounts and ensure timely distribution of monthly account statements.
  • Financial Reporting & Reconciliation: Prepare and distribute financial and tax information for customer accounts, invoice and collect fees, and conduct reconciliations to resolve discrepancies.
  • Operational Analysis: Assess current operational processes and identify improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Technology Utilization: Use software tools to streamline operations, improve reporting, and enhance data management.
  • Team Development: Provide training and support to team members on operations, compliance, and best practices, promoting a knowledgeable and compliant workforce.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with fiduciary standards and industry guidelines.
  • Audits and Exams: Support departmental audits and exams, preparing requested reports, addressing discrepancies, and ensuring compliance.

Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors to support efficient operations.

Professional Development: Engage in relevant personal training opportunities to keep pace with industry changes, supporting personal and professional growth.

Job Requirements:

  • A four-year degree in a business-related field is required. A minimum of five years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Series 65, Life & Health insurance licenses required.
  • Active listening and superb member service skills.
  • Positive leadership skills and enthusiastic disposition required.
  • Successful problem solver to resolve member’s inquiries.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment: May lift up to 25 lbs.; Office work- must be able to use a PC and phone; hearing and sight are required to perform this job; may need to sit or stand for long periods of time in front of a computer.
