In search of:
<ul>
<li>A part-time hourly Aquatics Coordinator to help lead the Aquatics Department at the Eric Snow Family YMCA. A majority of time will be spent guarding or instructing swim lessons.</li>
</ul>
Rate of Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00/hour

Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>2 years Aquatics Experience, preferably in a supervisory role</li>
<li>Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.</li>
<li>Proven ability in creating effective class schedules, great member relationships and a great staffing culture</li>
<li>REQUIRED: Current YMCA (preferred) or Red Cross Lifeguard Certification. Including CPR, First Aid and Oxygen and current YMCA (preferred) or Red Cross Swim Instructor Certification</li>
</ul>
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Oversee aquatic facilities</li>
<li>Prepare and oversee scheduling of lifeguards and aquatic staff</li>
<li>Oversee and coordinate swim lessons and classes</li>
<li>Lifeguard as needed and instruct classes</li>
<li>Ensure upkeep and maintenance of the pools and whirlpools and mandatory testing and reporting</li>
<li>Recruit, hire, train, develop, schedule, and direct staff</li>
<li>Hours: Approximately 25-30 hours per week</li>
