Job DescriptionMancan is working with a resort in the Millersburg area seeking a salesperson. This role focuses on promoting corporate events and wedding packages. This resort features newly renovated accommodations, an onsite restaurant, and a new wedding venue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell and promote corporate meetings, retreats, social events, and wedding packages
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective event clients from inquiry through contract execution
- Conduct site tours showcasing the resort, restaurant, and wedding venue
- Collaborate with operations, food & beverage, and event teams to ensure seamless execution
- Meet or exceed established sales and revenue goals
This is a full time position with 5 working days per week. Most Saturdays are required, particularly for tours and weddings. Standard hours are 8am-5pm, with some flexibility.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous wedding or hospitality sales experience
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple leads and deadlines simultaneously
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
The pay for this position is based on experience, between $50,000-$60,000 per year plus commission.
