The Position:
The Training Coach's number one priority is on teaching, coaching, and training the aquatics program at British Swim School. They ensure that all instructors are knowledgeable and confident on teaching the lessons, and able to teach in the water as required themselves.
Your Typical Responsibilities:
● Follow British Swim Schools curriculum to ensure safe and competent lessons.
● Establish and maintain relationships with students’ parents and/or guardians.
● Teach British Swim School lessons with encouragement and positive reinforcement.
● Teach and train new instructors on the British Swim School aquatics program.
● Maintain certifications throughout employment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to instruct swimming lessons within a structured program.
- Willing to undergo a background check.
- Comfortability in and around water/ children/ and adults
- High school degree or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Swim experience
- Lifeguard/ CPR/ AED certification
- Teaching experience
- Experience with Children
- A willingness to learn and grow with in British Swim School!
