Job Summary:The Harvest Elevator Worker is responsible for performing daily housekeeping and grain handling tasks, including working at heights and operating equipment such as grain dryers. The role supports safe and efficient operations during harvest season and requires physical stamina, attention to safety protocols, and flexibility to work in varying conditions.
Key Responsibilities: • Perform daily housekeeping duties. • Work at heights as required. • Dump and load railcars and trucks. • Operate a grain dryer. • Assist with grain handling operations. • Perform general maintenance as needed. • Carry out general housekeeping tasks across the facility.
Required Qualifications: • High school education or equivalent. • Commitment to Client's zero injury culture and adherence to safety procedures. • Regular and prompt attendance. • Ability to climb stairs and ladders. • Ability to work in various environmental conditions (heat, cold, dust). • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs unassisted. • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed. • Initiative to work independently and flexibility to work in a team setting. • Professional image and respectful attitude.
