Job DescriptionSalary:
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Executive team and overseeing/implementing the HR function of the business in cooperation with department managers.This role is based in Columbus, Ohio and reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
This role works as the voice and face of the company, exemplifying a high level of professionalism at all times. The HR Coordinator is responsible for administering/executing the company payroll and ensures the end-to-end running of HR projects and operations. This position will contribute to the attainment of specific goals and results of the HR Department and entire organization.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates the organizations HR planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resource policies, programs, and practices.
Retains historical human resource records by maintaining a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records up to date.
Acts as the plan administrator for employee benefits.
Implements employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs.
Responsible for Onboarding/Offboarding all new/exiting employees.
Keeps the Employee Handbook up to date and accurate.
Maintains the work structure by updating the organizational chart, staff directories, job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
Supports staff by establishing/following a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program and counsels managers on candidate selection.
Responsible for posting jobs and working with staffing agencies.
Schedules/coordinates with candidates and hiring managers regarding interviews, testing and reference calls.
Creates offer letters for managers and assists in candidate communication throughout the hiring process.
Implement and execute employee performance reviews.
Organizes/Encourages Employee Engagement and Safety by directing the committee that oversees engagement activities, outreaches and workplace safety.
Coordinates training program needs.
Responsible for payroll administration, reporting and communication.
Coordinates with 401(k) benefit program administrators and uploads, sends and manages 401(k) documentation.
Assists with tax filings, W2/1099 administration, ACA Filing, OSHA reporting etc.
Responsible for ad hoc reporting requests from management.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in Human Resources field
- Administrative background

- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
