Schedule: Monday-Friday 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM (30 min lunch break -unpaid, Two 15 min breaks paid)
OT: possibility of up to 10 hours of OT
Environment: Cold meat-packing fulfillment area Temp will be 32 degrees
Equipment: meat packing machines (contractor will be scooping meat into pouches for automatic packing, boxing products, scan guns.
Steel Toe Shoes/Boots: Yes required on day 1.
Day to Day Job Duties: Responsible for managing or performing work associated with converting raw materials and components into finished goods including:
• General production manufacturing work
• Assembling finished components or parts into finished products
• Process manufacturing batches of bulk materials/ingredients, including mechanical processing (e.g., mixing, grinding, separating, filtering, etc.)
• Packaging materials or finished goods into containers for the purpose of protection, display, and handling
0-3 Years of Experience, This is a position that is responsible for processing orders through packaging equipment according to specifications notated on order tickets and within designated demand times. This position is responsible to quickly perform quality assurance checks for product and weight. Basic requirements include basic mathematical skills, computer skills, product knowledge.
