Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Sales Application Engineer to join our team at our Milford, OH location. The role involves providing technical expertise, supporting customers in implementing ECOROLL solutions, and ensuring successful integration of our tools into their processes. Key responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations (focusing on "New Tool" sales), developing tailored solutions, preparing technical documentation, addressing client inquiries, and on-site training with customers. The position also involves overnight travel of about 65% to client sites, and close collaboration with both Ecoroll and customer technical teams.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in mechanical concepts and knowledge of metal surface finishing is preferred
- Experience in customer support, technical consulting, and handling customer queries
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Project management experience to oversee tool integration and solution implementation for clients
- Proficiency with technical drawings. Knowledge of software such as CAD applications is a plus
- Must be confident conducting product demonstrations to develop tailored solutions for clients
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed with average travel of 60%-65% overnight
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Prior experience as sales application engineer or industrial sales in metalworking preferred
