Summary
Temporary payroll specialist role supporting accurate, compliant payroll processing for a large, multi-state workforce using UKG Pro.
Responsibilities
- Process and review multi-state payroll in UKG Pro for hourly and salaried employees
- Manage payroll for overtime-heavy populations, including driver groups
- Process bonuses and other supplemental earnings
- Administer garnishments and child support orders accurately and on time
- Support benefits-related payroll deductions and coordination
- Assist with leave of absence payroll impacts and related communications
- Respond to employee and manager inquiries through the payroll inbox
- Complete payroll updates, audits, and data changes
- Support W-2 preparation and year-end payroll activities as needed
- Partner with HR and benefits teams to ensure accuracy and compliance
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience processing payroll in UKG Pro
- Experience supporting payroll for 1,000+ employees across multiple states
- Strong knowledge of overtime calculations, payroll compliance, and wage regulations
- High attention to detail with strong organization and follow-through
Salary
$35-65/hr
