Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Department: Administrative
Reports To: Director of Accounting
SUMMARY
Process account receivable and complete internal and external reporting programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounts Receivable
o Code and enter all deposits.
o Record accounts receivable for external individuals for various programs.
o Monitors outstanding Accounts Receivable through aging reports.
o Records donations to appropriate programs.
o Maintain cash flow for the agency.
Reporting
o Completes/Reviews various journal entries in accounting systems.
o Assists with bank Reconciliations.
o Completes/maintains budgets in accounting system.
o Maintains grant information files.
o Maintains grant report files.
o Prepares and reviews various internal and external reports.
o Assists in monthly closing process.
o Assists in preparation of annual audit.
Other
o Assists Director of Accounting on projects as needed.
o Cross-trained to fill in for Accounts Payable Specialist.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college and at least two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
