We're seeking a hands-on Research Scientist with expertise in stannous fluoride and a passion for applied chemistry. In this lab-focused role, you'll conduct routine experimental work, develop prototypes, and support product testing and optimization.
This is a 12-month contract position, 100% on-site, with part-time hours (~10 hours per week).

responsibilities:
- Execute day-to-day applied research by performing hands-on experimental work in lab, plant, or pilot plant settings; assemble prototypes, run test routines, update specs, and implement technical changes based on standard protocols.
- Support product development through product testing, submission for analytical evaluation, and by leveraging systems such as SMART, Desktop Reporter, and GAIMS to document and manage research data.
- Contribute to cross-functional efforts by conducting customer and market research, supporting backlog prioritization, and applying insights from consumer and technical testing to inform product decisions.
qualifications:
Required
- MS degree or higher
- Direct research experience with stannous fluoride
- Experience with publishing in peer-reviewed journals
Preferred
- Oral care formulation experience (e.g., toothpaste, mouthwash)
- Experience with regulated consumer products
- Familiarity with pilot plant environments or clinical product testing
