The Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new customers, nurturing existing client relationships, and effectively promoting the company's products. This role involves understanding customer needs, managing the full sales cycle, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities

Prospect and generate new business through cold calling, networking, and follow-up on warm leads

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business and ensure high customer satisfaction

Respond to product inquiries and convert leads into sales by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions

Manage large and complex orders, ensuring clear communication and seamless follow-through from order placement through fulfillment

Research and analyze current and prospective customers to identify growth opportunities

Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities

Conduct virtual and in-person sales meetings, presenting products, pricing, and customized solutions

Negotiate contracts and close deals in accordance with company policies and pricing guidelines

Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, logistics, and customer support) to ensure smooth service delivery

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, resolving issues promptly and maintaining high satisfaction levels

Track and manage sales leads using internal tools (e.g., Box Nutra Sales Rep Sheet, Lead Entry Form, Closed Sales Sheet)

Monitor and report sales performance, providing weekly and monthly updates to management

Communicate customer requirements clearly to production and logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment

Ensure all required documentation (Certificates of Analysis, spec sheets, etc.) is prepared prior to shipment

Confirm shipping details, including pickup and delivery schedules, freight methods, packaging compliance, and special instructions

Follow up with customers post-shipment to confirm satisfaction and gather feedback

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system

Proactively prepare for reorders and follow-up discussions based on customer feedback and evolving needs

Outbound calls: 10+ per day (minimum of 7 to current customers)

Qualifications

Strong customer service experience and skills

Experience in sales, business development, or a related field

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse clients

Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to exceed sales targets

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Strong organizational and time management skills

Knowledge of supplements and raw materials (ingredients) preferred
Pay Structure
-
Hourly rate: $18–$25
-
Monthly commission based on percentage of sales achieved
