We are seeking a dedicated Clean Room Technician to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art clean room and metrology environment. We have openings for both 1st shift (7am-3:30pm) and 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm).
Responsibilities
- Wear a clean room suit (dust suit, no hood).
- Work in a machine operator lab setting.
- Inspect and measure parts using calipers, gauges, and microscopes.
- Perform documentation in cloud platforms and Microsoft Excel.
- Follow work instructions and perform repetitive tasks.
- Operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and diamond turning machines after training.
- Conduct tests on a variety of products.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, collaborating with the team.
Essential Skills
- High attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills and data entry experience.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with CMM operation.
- Experience using calipers and microscopes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Strong computer and documentation experience.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
- At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing.
- Ability to perform basic math equations.
- Willingness to wear a clean room suit and gloves.
- Experience in a clean room environment (preferred).
- Quality inspection experience (preferred).

Work Environment
You will work in a clean room lab environment with a consistent temperature of 68 degrees. The setting is well-lit, ensuring optimal conditions for quality inspection tasks. The department is small, with only three other employees, promoting a close-knit team atmosphere. You can wear sweatshirts for additional warmth and listen to music while working. No steel toe boots are required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
