Job Description:Baler Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining baling equipment to compress scrap materials, such as metal, cardboard, and plastic, into compact bales for recycling or disposal. The role involves monitoring the baling process to ensure optimal performance and identifying any malfunctions or issues with the machinery. The operator will be required to follow safety protocols, wear proper protective gear, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Additionally, the Baler Operator will work closely with other team members to ensure the timely removal and storage of materials. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
- Repair boxes for reuse in our production departments
- Run baler machine to compress and bind cardboard
- Breakdown cardboard boxes that cannot be reused
- Open chamber doors and remove bales
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Physical stamina
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Detailed attention to safety
