AbouttheRole
HickeyMetalFabricationisseekinganexperienced,hands-onControllerwithmanufacturingaccountingexperiencetomanagethedailyfinancialoperationsofaconsolidatedgroupofentities.ThisroleisidealforaControllerwhoenjoysbeinginvolvedinday-to-dayaccountingwhilealsoprovidingfinancialinsightandsupporttoexecutiveleadership.
Thisisakeypositionwithinafinanciallystrongandgrowingmanufacturingcompanythatvaluesaccuracy,accountability,andcollaboration.
KeyResponsibilities
- Overseefinancialoperationsacrossmultipleentities,includingaccountspayable,accountsreceivable,customerinvoicing,andcollections
- SupporttheERPsystemrelatedtofinanceandinventory,includingthefullmanufacturingprocess
- Managedailyaccountingactivities,generalledger,bankreconciliations,andfixedassetsoftware
- Monitorandreconcileintercompanyactivityandinvestmentrecords
- Ensureaccurateinventoryreporting,includingcyclecountsandphysicalinventories;analyzevariancesandrecommendcorrectiveactions
- Assistwithpayrollprocessing,includingquarterlyandannualreporting
- PrepareGAAP-basedconsolidatedfinancialstatementsandmanagemonth-endcloseprocedures
- Providefinancialanalysisandinsightstosupportexecutiveleadership,budgeting,andforecasting
- Coordinateandprepareyear-endsupportforexternalaccountingfirms,includingreconciliationsandtaxfilings
Qualifications
- BachelorsdegreeinAccountingrequired
- Priorexperienceinamanufacturingenvironmentrequired
- StrongknowledgeofGAAPandaccountingsystems,includingAP,AR,payroll,billing,andgeneralledger
- ExperienceworkingwithERPsystems,specificallyInforCloudSuiteIndustrialpreferred
- CPAandpublicaccountingexperiencepreferred
- Strongleadership,organizational,analytical,andcommunicationskills
- Highattentiontodetailandtheabilitytomakesounddecisions
- Abilitytomaintainconfidentialityandworkcollaboratively
- Self-motivatedwithastrongworkethicandtheabilitytomanagemultipleprioritiesefficiently
