Position Overview
The CLS Plant Health Care Technician is responsible for fertilization, integrated pest management, and weed and fungi controls for trees, shrubs, and lawns on client properties using various equipment including spray and injection tools, while providing excellent customer service; and safely operating vehicles and equipment. This is a seasonal position, depending on the regional location.
Job Duties
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides to client properties using various equipment. • Measure, mix, and prepare chemical solutions for trees, shrubs, and lawns. • Follow work order specifications and maintain proper documentation, including pesticide labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS). • Inspect worksites for underground utilities and installations, and set up traffic control and vehicle safety measures. • Diagnose plant diseases and determine appropriate treatments. • Operate and maintain sprayer equipment, including loading materials, filling tanks, and ensuring machinery efficiency. • Adhere to safety regulations, use safety equipment, and safely handle materials. • Perform site clean-up and maintenance tasks. • Communicate with clients about diagnoses and treatments. • Keep daily application records and time reports.
Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years of age to work in the field. • Must be at least 21 years of age to operate equipment as a Department of Transportation (DOT) certified driver for specific vehicles or equipment. • Valid Driver’s License. Class B CDL valuable, but not required. • Successful completion in the Davey Tree Qualified Plant Health Care Technician training program as a plant heath care technician or the ability to obtain qualification within 90 days of hire. • Ability to complete required safety courses. • Applicator licenses acquired as necessary per state requirements. • Ability to operate mobile power equipment.

Join our Great Parks team as a part-time Riding Instructor at the Winton Woods Farm &amp; Equestrian Center. At Great Parks, our team members work together to preserve and protect natural resources and to provide outdoor recreation and education in order to enhance the quality of life for present and future generations. 
This part-time position works various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. This position gives horseback riding lessons and instruction to Equestrian Center visitors, hosts horseback riding summer camps, assists in hosting onsite competitions, greets and serves guests, handles guest inquiries, drives Farm vehicles. Standard practice allows employee to proceed alone on regular duties with questionable situations referred to supervisor.
Responsibilities:

<li>Jobsite Hazards, Obstacles, Plan, Equipment (H.O.P.E) process&nbsp;</li>
<li>Pruning, thinning and removing deadwood throughout the tree canopy&nbsp;</li>
<li>Installation of cables, bracing and lightning protection systems &nbsp;</li>
<li>Removal of hazardous trees&nbsp;</li>
<li>Mentor crew members through the Davey Career Development Program.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more. &nbsp;</li>

Qualifications
What We’re Looking for:&nbsp;

<li>Love of the outdoors&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire &nbsp;</li>
<li>Preferred: Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates&nbsp;</li>
<li>Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist ®, ISA Certified Tree Worker ®, and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional ®&nbsp;</li>

Position Overview
The CLS Landscape Technician is responsible for the maintenance, care, and enhancement of client turf and grounds landscape projects and services, working with various tools and equipment to ensure landscapes and outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing. This is a seasonal position, depending on the regional location.
This office is holding walk-in interviews for this role between 10AM-12PM every Wednesday at 3567 Westerville Rd
Experience Required
Job Duties
• Operate, clean, and maintain various vehicles and landscape equipment. • Mow, trim, and edge lawns. • Plant and care for plants, trees, and shrubs. • Follow all safety guidelines • Report to the supervisor regularly.
Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years of age to work in the field. • Ability to complete required safety courses upon hire. • Ability to complete Davey Career Development Program (CDP) books. • Ability to acquire applicator licenses as necessary per state requirements • Ability to operate power equipment
