Position Summary
Under minimal administrative direction is responsible for the organization, management and direction of LMHS Hematology/Oncology Services. Must demonstrate good leadership and interpersonal skills to work closely with patients, visitors, physicians and other health care team members. Works collaboratively with the oncology providers to coordinate clinical and operational activities. Accountable to patient and family for care provided, and to the Assistant VP Laboratory &amp; Oncology Services. Meets all the criteria/factors of the core values or competencies required by LMHS.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Interview, hire, orient, schedule and assign work duties. Counsel and implement appropriate disciplinary action.</li>
<li>Evaluate patient care outcomes utilizing Quality Improvement process</li>
<li>Responsible for Commission on Cancer accreditation</li>
<li>Develop, review and enforce policy and procedure, JCAHO, DNV, and other standards of practice, and ISO business processes</li>
<li>Assist in the formulation and implementation of operational and capital budgets.</li>
<li>Develop staff performance goals and task inventories; evaluates completion of staff competency.</li>
<li>Conduct staff meetings on a regular basis.</li>
<li>Ensure departmental documents are in control</li>
<li>Plans and oversees the educational development for all staff members.</li>
<li>Analyze financial reports and takes action as necessary to improve efficiencies and lower costs.</li>
<li>Maintain inventory and upkeep of all necessary equipment, materials and supplies. Plans and maintains a clean, orderly and safe environment for patients and employees.</li>
<li>Oversee the maintenance of accurate patient records including demographics, charges, coding, and documentation, following all policies and procedures concerning coding and billing.</li>
<li>Promote guest relations within the department, health system and community by supporting and demonstrating "Service Excellence" throughout the organization</li>
<li>Participate in committees and community programs as requested in order to promote better public relations within the health system and community.</li>
<li>Ensure that personal and staff performance reflects the Mission, Vision, Standards of Behavior and the Service Goals.</li>

Requirements
<ul>
<li>Oncology Nursing experience preferred;</li>
<li>Maintain a current R.N. license for the state of Ohio.</li>
<li>Demonstrate advanced communication skills, mathematical skills, and/or technical or specialized knowledge such as that which would be required in the first two years of college, technical school, or business school.</li>
<li>Demonstrate knowledge of the organization and operation of a department for which (s) he assumes responsibility and knowledge of the business and clinical operations generally acquired through two years or more of experience.</li>
<li>Ensure ISO Business Processes, JCAHO, DNV, and other regulatory standards are followed</li>
<li>Demonstrate analytical abilities and problem solving skills necessary to oversee and organize the work of others, develop a budget, and implement administrative and clinical policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Demonstrates interpersonal skills and sensitivity sufficient to interact effectively and efficiently with customers, their families, physicians, hospital, and outside agencies. Acts as the primary agent to effectively deal with customer issues or complaints.</li>

Join our Great Parks team as a part-time Riding Instructor at the Winton Woods Farm &amp; Equestrian Center. At Great Parks, our team members work together to preserve and protect natural resources and to provide outdoor recreation and education in order to enhance the quality of life for present and future generations. 
This part-time position works various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. This position gives horseback riding lessons and instruction to Equestrian Center visitors, hosts horseback riding summer camps, assists in hosting onsite competitions, greets and serves guests, handles guest inquiries, drives Farm vehicles. Standard practice allows employee to proceed alone on regular duties with questionable situations referred to supervisor.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Performs job duties in accordance with Great Parks’ policies, procedures, and performance expectations. </li>
<li>Maintains confidentiality of confidential and sensitive information. </li>
<li>Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and punctual attendance and works outside of normal schedule as required. </li>
<li>Greets and serves guests to ensure satisfaction. Handles guest inquires.</li>
<li>Teaches horseback riding lessons and instruction to Equestrian Center visitors.</li>
<li>Feeds, waters, brushes, and performs other tasks to assist in care of horses</li>
<li>Maintains and repairs tack.</li>
<li>Assists riders on and off horse. Ensures public safety and proper treatment of the horses.</li>
<li>Maintains clean and sanitary conditions.</li>
<li>Opens facilities and prepares for daily business. Closes and secures facilities at end of business day.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
Any combination of education, training, course work and experience may qualify the applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills, and abilities. An example of an acceptable qualification is: 
<ul>
<li>At least 18 years old and completion of high school education, with course work/experience in equestrian management and demonstrable skill in horseback riding.</li>
<li>Great customer service experience preferred</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Has ability to demonstrate written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Experience in equestrian management and demonstrable skill in horseback riding </li>
<li>Ability to document identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of original appointment as a condition of employment in compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act requirements.</li>
</ul>
LICENSE OF CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
<ul>
<li>State Motor Vehicle Operator’s License that meets GPHC current carrier guidelines.</li>
</ul>
