Pay

Role Overview
The Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing landscaping equipment and machinery to ensure they are in optimal working condition. Requirements:

<li>Minimum of 3 years of diesel repair experience preferred.</li>
<li>Communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when&nbsp;needed.</li>
<li>Valid Driver’s License required.</li>
<li>Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills</li>
<li>Ability to utilize a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders which includes adding labor hours&nbsp;and updating work order&nbsp;statuses.</li>
<li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.&nbsp; Must be able to bend, stoop or crawl.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Must be&nbsp;able to stand for long periods of time (1-2 hours)&nbsp;</li>
<li>2 years' experience&nbsp;in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.</li>

We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanics with 2-4+ years of tank and/or trailer repair experience for our Marietta, OH location!

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
Pay Range: $23.00 to $37.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
(Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.)
Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:
<ul>
<li>The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.</li>
<li>Tank service and repair</li>
<li>Trailer suspension installation and repair</li>
<li>Experience with air brake systems and repairs</li>
<li>TIG &amp; MIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)</li>
<li>Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)</li>
<li>Background in confined space entry (preferred)</li>
<li>Must obtain a High School Diploma or GED</li>
</ul>
Physical Demands:
<ul>
<li>The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds</li>
<li>With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds</li>
<li>Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole</li>
