Mechanic Responsibilities and Duties:
<ul>
<li>Perform repair and maintenance to fleet vehicles in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.</li>
<li>Perform inspections, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on company vehicles and equipment.</li>
<li>Utilizes the vehicle computer electronics system to interpret failure modes and initiate and/or assign repairs.</li>
<li>Perform all work within Standard Repair Times and report any deviations to Supervisor.</li>
<li>Completes day to day tasks under limited supervision</li>

What You'll Do:
<ul>
<li>Operate medium to heavy-duty wreckers for towing semi-trucks and trailer.</li>
<li>Perform accident recovery, rollovers, winch outs, and abandoned vehicle recovery</li>
<li>Respond to emergency road service calls in a safe and timely manner</li>
<li>Communicate with dispatch to provide accurate updates and ETA’s</li>
<li>Complete detailed paperwork and reports for each service call</li>
<li>Inspect and maintain trucks, tools, and equipment to ensure readiness</li>
<li>Provide exceptional customer service in high-pressure situations</li>
</ul>
What You Bring:

<li>Class A CDL (Required &amp; Kept Current)</li>
<li>Current DOT Physical &amp; Ability to Pass Drug Test</li>
<li>Clean Background &amp; Insurable Driving Record</li>
<li>Mechanical skills for minor vehicle repairs</li>
<li>Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various weather conditions</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving and customer service skills</li>
