Summary
A Production Equipment Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing facilities by maintaining and repairing production equipment and machinery. This position is essential for minimizing downtime, increasing productivity, and ensuring the safety of employees in a manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with production teams to diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix equipment issues promptly.

Job Responsibilities
 Equipment Inspection and Preventive Maintenance:
 Conduct routine inspections of production equipment to identify wear and tear, damage, or potential issues.
 Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to keep equipment in optimal working condition.
 Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
 Troubleshooting and Repair:
 Diagnose equipment malfunctions, analyze root causes, and determine the best course of action for repairs.
 Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs on production machinery.
 Replace defective parts and components as necessary and ensure proper calibration.

Emergency Repairs:
 Respond quickly to unexpected equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
 Collaborate with production teams to prioritize and address critical repairs.
 Coordinate with external vendors or specialists when necessary.

Safety Compliance:
 Ensure that all equipment meets safety standards and regulations.
 Conduct safety checks and implement safety improvements as needed.
 Train production staff on the safe operation of machinery.

Documentation and Reporting:
 Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts inventory.
 Generate reports on equipment performance and maintenance costs.
 Recommend equipment upgrades or replacements when necessary.

Continuous Improvement:
 Identify opportunities for process and equipment improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
 Collaborate with engineering teams to implement upgrades and modifications.
 Assist with and actively participate in maintenance activities in adherence to ISO 9001:2015 standards, ensuring compliance with QMS requirements.

Inventory Management:
 Manage and track spare parts inventory to ensure the availability of critical components.
 Order and stock necessary spare parts and maintain supplier relationships.

Qualifications:

<li>Perform preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on complex electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems.</li>

Job Description 
About the Role:
The Technician role is full time or part-time and is an hourly position based on needs of the business. The Technician is primarily responsible for conducting basic vehicle diagnostics and performing routine vehicle repair and maintenance services in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications. This position is expected to deliver exceptional 5 Star service to our guests, through effective communication of vehicle issues and proposed solutions, as well as consistently meeting guest expectations for time commitments and quality.
Salary Range: $16.00 - $28.00 Flat Rate - Based on experience.
This role is eligible for additional compensation and incentives.&nbsp;
Responsibilities:
· Perform basic vehicle diagnostics to properly identify required repairs.
· Consistently complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection process, on every guest vehicle, identifying, documenting, and communicating additional needed services and repairs; Audit courtesy inspections performed by the General Service Technicians
· Assist in inventory management to include pulling tires and parts, unloading and stocking inventory.
· Assist with all general store duties, ensuring the store is in excellent condition and maintained to Monro standards for cleanliness and consistently in guest ready condition.
· Consistently perform service(s) in accordance with Monro’s safety standards including but not limited to Monro’s Wheel Torque, Oil safety and compliance procedures
· Test drive vehicles in accordance with Monro’s Road Test policy, including consistently utilizing our dedicated test drive routes, while maintaining all local traffic and safety laws
· Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures, Governmental standards including environmental codes and ANSI/OSHA standards. Consistent use of all required safety standards set forth in training and policies and procedures.
· Maintain technical knowledge and capabilities to ensure proficiency through the timely completion of all required Monro University training courses and modules.
· Operate, utilize, and maintain all equipment in a safe manner in accordance with Monro and equipment manufacturer guidelines including but not limited to lifts, welders, brake lathes, etc.
· Perform other duties as assigned and required.

Qualifications 
Qualifications:

<li>High School Diploma or equivalent.  &nbsp;</li>

<li>Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair or the equivalent combination of education and experience.  &nbsp;</li>

<li>ASE certification and State Inspection license (where applicable) preferred. &nbsp;</li>
</ul>

<li>Must possess a current valid driver’s license and have a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) &nbsp;</li>
</ul>

<li>Required to own a basic set of tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.</li>
</ul>

This job operates in an automotive shop environment.&nbsp; The job will have exposure to a moderate noise level, adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt, and dust. Technicians must be able to complete the following but not limited to:&nbsp;

Senior Diesel Mechanic are responsible for performing inspections, diagnostic testing, repairs, and maintenance on the vehicle fleet to ensure our trucks are safe and on the road. Often senior technicians handle the more difficult repairs and assist in training less experienced technicians. These technicians must be able to work with minimal direction and may direct the work of others. 

Responsibilities of Position:
<ul>
<li>Performs repairs and maintenance of fleet vehicles in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.</li>
<li>Perform services and repairs to fleet vehicles per company maintenance schedules and/or from driver vehicle inspection reports (DVIR).</li>
<li>Diagnoses and troubleshoots mechanical issues and makes necessary repairs, or replacements.</li>
<li>Road tests vehicles to diagnose problems or test repairs.</li>
<li>Inspects, lubricates, and services vehicles and equipment.</li>
<li>Completes adjustments, repairs, and component replacements to vehicles, equipment, and related components.</li>
<li>Checks, fills, and/or changes appropriate fluids for all vehicle parts and checks/changes filters.</li>
<li>Inspects and/or repairs vehicle support systems, such as electrical, air, and brake systems.</li>
<li>Identifies and performs repair to various components and operating systems on the vehicles, equipment, or related components.</li>
<li>Performs roadside repairs and adjustments.</li>
<li>Ensures all safety devices on vehicles are in good working order.</li>
<li>Assists in training less experienced technicians with repairs, maintenance assignments, and adjustments.</li>
<li>Performs required administrative duties, when necessary, parts requisitions, warranties, etc.</li>
<li>Performs routine housekeeping duties related to tools, materials, shop, and work areas.</li>
<li>May assist in other areas of the vehicle maintenance shop as needed.</li>
<li>Maintains accurate records (time, maintenance orders, and parts usage) on computer/tablet.</li>
<li>May be require to travel for training purposes or business needs.</li>

Skills &amp; Abilities Needed for Position:
