About the Position
The Auto Glass Technician Trainee is responsible for assisting with repairs and replacements of automotive glass under the supervision of a more experienced glass technician. <li>Install &amp; repair all aspects of surveillance systems (analog and IP), Access Control, Burglar Alarm, and associated peripheral equipment</li>
<li>Perform routine maintenance and service on existing security systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability</li>
<li>Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure successful project completion</li>
<li>Maintain accurate documentation of all installations, service calls, and maintenance activities</li>
<li>Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge</li>
<li>Follows safe and secure practices to safeguard against injury, damage to property and confidential information based on both company and client safety standards</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>5+ years of experience in installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security systems in a similar position</li>
<li>Manufacturer Certifications: Honeywell, Kantech, VideoEdge, American Dynamics, ProWatch, Victor, VMS or other types of security platforms</li>
<li>Experience with installing security surveillance systems (analog and IP), Access Control, Burglar Alarm, and other associated equipment</li>
<li>Working knowledge of MS Office and basic computer functions</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members while ensuring confidentiality</li>
<li>Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent qualification</li>
</ul>
