WHAT DOES AN AUTOMATIC DOOR TECH DO? A typical day begins at our shop with a caffeine jolt, a restock of service vehicles, and assignment of daily service calls. Technicians then travel to 4-6 customer locations within our service area where they troubleshoot, diagnose, and make repairs. This involves selling parts, filling out paperwork to document the superb work being performed, and helpfully answering customer questions, providing technical support/customer education, and converting any grumpy customers into happy ones. Additional calls along a route may be added if they come in, so be prepared to call an audible. A day ends by driving directly home from your last call and putting your feet up. Also we don't just handle the old and broken, but we do shiny new doors too! Our door techs can have the fun of installing those new door systems as well. Variety is the spice of life for an automatic door tech.

• Stock and load trucks with materials for jobs • Complete daily equipment safety inspections and maintenance checks • Accurately complete all required company documentation for each assignment according to established company standards and procedures • Organize materials, tools, and equipment • Ability to read blueprints to interpret daily work assignment • Traffic Control &amp; Safety • General clean up of truck and work areas • Perform work in a safe manner and comply with all established safety policies and procedures • Reconcile all issued parts and materials on a daily basis to ensure accurate material usage counts. • Willingness to work shifts as assigned, including daily overtime when necessary. • Able to perform the physical tasks required in this position for the entire assigned shift.

• Capable of working in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions. • Ability to work efficiently, independently and collaboratively in a team environment • Must be able to bend, stand, sit, crawl, climb, and lift throughout each day • Ability to communicate professionally with co-workers, homeowners, and customers • Must be reliable, responsible, and dependable work attendance • Must have valid driver's license, CDL is a plus • Must be able to pass drug and background screening • Must be authorized to work in the United States
