What you’ll be doing:
Position is responsible for performing the duties and responsibilities of fermentation production operations.
Location: Solon, OH

Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Prepare reactors for fermentation including loading raw materials, setting parameters, testing equipment functionality, and inoculation of culture. </li>
<li>Operate PLC to gather data and set temperature, pH, and other parameters. </li>
<li>Prepare scheduled samples for testing and analysis by quality control. </li>
<li>Clean and sterilize equipment, reactors, and all parts utilized in production. </li>
<li>Maintain warehouse area and ensure high level of cleanliness and organization of materials. </li>
<li>Perform routine maintenance on reactors, tanks, pumps, and other production equipment. </li>
<li>Wear required PPE while carrying out position responsibilities.</li>
<li>Follow SOP’s and protocols to maintain product quality.

Qualifications &amp; Requirements
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED required.</li>
<li>Knowledge or experience in fermentation, or microbiology preferred.</li>
<li>Schedule flexibility, including some weekend work required.</li>
<li>Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance preferred. </li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Strong communication skills; both verbal and written.</li>
<li>Ability to identify problems and execute standard procedures.</li>
<li>Acute attention to detail.</li>
<li>Ability to use MS Word, Excel, Outlook efficiently. </li>
</ul>

<li>May require occasional lifting or carrying of materials or equipment weighing up to 50pounds.

<li>The employee is required to consistently position self as appropriate to maintain equipment in the warehouse and progress production cycles. </li>

 Shift is between 7:30 - 4:30 M-F with occasional over time opportunities on the weekend.
