Custom Concrete is looking for a hard-working, dedicated person to join our team as a Concrete Pump Operator. These CDL Drivers are responsible for safely transporting company resources such as material, equipment, and in some cases, employees. Our Driver’s Program is a comprehensive standard that goes above and beyond the law in order to uphold organizational excellence and ensure the safety of all our employees and the communities we serve. Compliance is the responsibility of every driver in our company.
Essential Functions
Pick up and deliver resources in a timely manner while safely operating their vehicles
Communicates work progress with supervisor throughout the duration of the project.
Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
Keeps record of materials and products transported.
Position blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo for transport.
Cleans, inspects, and services vehicle.
Ability to operate a smartphone and tablet
Work in any type of weather to include; extreme heat and cold, rain, and snow
Climb in and out of basement excavations anywhere from 6-10 feet deep using a dirt ramp or dirt stairs
Perform daily tasks in wet and muddy condition
Performs materials handling and storage
Loads and unloads trucks and hauls and hoists materials
Washes out pump in accordance with established procedures
Ensures that the pump is set up for pumping in a safe manner, clear of power lines etc.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Hold a valid Class A or B Commercial driver’s license.
5 years professional experience driving a tractor trailer (preferred)
