Job SummaryVIP Automotive is looking to add a new technician to its growing business. We are a small family owned automotive repair shop that is growing and ready to add to our family. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles of all makes and models.
We are willing to accept part time and full time applicants. We do not work major holidays or weekends. All employees are supplied with company shirts but must acquire their own footwear and pants. This full time position is a flat rate or hourly position depending on agreement. Here at VIP we do not specialize in any one thing as we provide services that range from oil changes to complete engine replacements or rebuilds, installing aftermarket accessories, lift kits and go as far as custom vehicle upgrades.
Responsibilities
- Use your expertise and diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunction codes
- Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements
- Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Convey necessary vehicle repair information to customers in a clear and concise manner
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is desired but not required.
- Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is a plus.
- Strong customer service and communications skills are required.
- Good attitude with the desire to learn.
- 2 or more years of on the job experience
