Respiratory Therapist Compensation
- Pay Rate: 55.00 per hour
- Required Availability: Nights, 7p-730a | 3 12-hour shifts
Respiratory Therapist RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Confirm physician orders and ensure therapy appropriateness.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient responses to therapy in medical records.
- Communicate unusual reactions to the medical team promptly.
- Provide excellent patient care, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
- Administer medical gases, medications, and respiratory treatments according to protocols.
- Set up and maintain respiratory equipment in a safe and clean environment.
- Participate in emergency responses, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Collaborate with patient care teams and engage in quality improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with new techniques and equipment through in-services and professional development.
Respiratory Therapist REQUIREMENTS:
- Completion of a respiratory therapy program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)
- Attendance mandatory for first 90 days
- Current and active Respiratory Therapist License in the state of OH
- 1+ year of Respiratory Therapy experience
