We are seeking a caring, energetic, Child Care Assistant to join our team! You will assist in the supervision of children 8 weeks to 12 years of age in a gym-setting.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and interact with children in a safe and compassionate manner
- Implement creative activities set by the Lead Child Care Teacher
- Create a positive and nurturing environment for children
- Perform a variety of tasks, such as ensuring a safe, clean space for children to play, playing and snuggling with our Burn Kids, implement arts and crafts, light cleaning duties before and after camp
- create a caring, fun, exciting environment for children to look forward to coming each day
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with childcare or other related fields
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build rapport with children and their parents
- Positive and patient demeanor
