Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in early childhood settings is needed for a part-time contract position in Columbus, OH. This role focuses on supporting preschool-aged children with speech and language development challenges within an early childhood school environment. The assignment is contract-based, lasting approximately 6 to 8 weeks, with an ASAP start date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for preschool children.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy services tailored to the unique needs of each child.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Document and maintain accurate records of assessments, sessions, and progress.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), including eligibility or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Experience working in school-based settings, particularly with preschool or early childhood populations.
- Pediatric speech and language assessment and intervention skills.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Schedule and Location:
- Position is based in Columbus, OH.
- Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week.
- Mornings only; additional hours may be available based on candidates preference.
- Contract duration is for the school year (CSY) with a flexible start within 6 to 8 weeks.
