What You’ll Do – Core Responsibilities
As our Body Shop Manager, you will own the full operational success of our body shop. That includes:
- Leadership & Team Development: Lead, coach, and inspire a team of estimators, body technicians, painters, and front-office staff to reach and exceed performance benchmarks.
- Production Oversight: Manage workflow from intake to delivery, ensuring quality control, cycle time targets, and repair integrity are met without compromise.
- Customer Experience Excellence: Be the face of the shop. Set the standard for professionalism, communication, and problem resolution that creates lifelong customers.
- Insurance & DRP Management: Foster strong relationships with insurance partners, ensuring compliance with DRP programs and maximizing approvals and profitability.
- Financial Performance: Drive operational efficiency and profitability by managing KPIs, labor hours, parts procurement, and vendor relationships.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce all environmental, OSHA, and company safety standards. Maintain certifications and a clean, compliant facility.
Who You Are – The Ideal Candidate
- A proven leader with 5+ years of experience managing a high-volume, high-performance auto body shop.
- Deep understanding of collision repair, estimating systems (CCC/Mitchell), DRP compliance, and shop management best practices.
- Known for your ability to develop people, build accountability, and create a culture of high standards and ownership.
- Strong communicator, excellent at resolving challenges and delivering exceptional customer service under pressure.
- Technically sound, detail-oriented, and financially literate — you know your numbers and how to move them.
