Maumee Bay Lodge is currently seeking responsible candidates with outgoing, friendly personalities for our Night Auditor position. This is a crucial element to our success so if you possess the following skills we want you at our lodge!
This position will work Sunday, Monday & Tuesday from 10pm - 8am. Days are set, but times can be somewhat flexible. Front Desk shifts may also be available other days of the week, if desired.

Responsibilities
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
- Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
- Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
- Audit Rooms, Food & Beverage, Retail and Sports Revenues
- Run reports & balance all outlet charges back to computer generated totals and investigates any discrepancies and corrects
- Walk to the different outlets to run register reports
- Assist in the preparation of the spreadsheets on computer or manually for management
Qualifications
- Must be 21 or older
- Must possess basic education at High-School level or equivalent.
- Experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or other customer facing role required
- Experience with bookkeeping, Excel spreadsheets or other accounting functions required
- Experience with computers, copiers, faxes and other office equipment
- Previous experience with answering multi-line telephones
- Customer service experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Previous accounting or bookkeeping skills a plus
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.
- Working knowledge of Stay In Touch, Silverware and Shift4 or other similar systems
