Roholt Vision Institute, a privately owned ophthalmology and optometry practice, is seeking to hire an ophthalmic assistant. COA certification is preferred (but not required) . Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to customer service, be team players, and possess effective communication skills to work efficiently and accurately.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Obtaining patient histories
- Performing various ophthalmic tests (OCT, HVF, Fundus Photos, IOL Master, applanation, refract)
- Scribing
- Handling prior authorizations for medications
- Returning patient phone calls
- Completing other tasks as needed
Preferred at least 1 year of prior experience
