Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Appliance Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of residential and commercial appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, dishwashers, and more. You will provide in-home service and ensure high-quality repairs that exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with appliances.
- Perform repairs and part replacements on major household appliances.
- Accurately document service calls, repair details, and parts used.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding repairs and recommendations.
- Maintain and manage a service vehicle, tools, and inventory.
- Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times.
- Keep up to date with appliance technology and repair techniques.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience as an appliance repair technician or similar role.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- EPA certification (preferred but not required).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift heavy appliances and work in various residential settings.
