Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available to provide support in a K-12 school setting in Columbus, OH. This contract role spans a full semester, starting as soon as possible through May 22, 2026. The assignment involves supporting elementary students across three locations within the district, with a caseload of up to 50 students.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students.
- Collaborating with school staff to implement therapy plans.
- Supporting students developmental and functional needs across multiple school sites.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Ohio license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Experience working in school-based therapy environments preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 50 elementary students effectively.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
